The purpose and objectives of the Association is to promote the general welfare of the passenger and commercial vessel industry; to keep members informed as to developments pertaining to the industry, to represent the industry in the area of government regulations, to promote and encourage excellence in safety aboard vessels of the PCVA, and to promote any enterprise which will benefit members of the Association collectively.

When you choose a passenger vessel to board – be it a six or six hundred person capacity – cruise with a member of the Passenger and Commercial Vessel Association.  As the industry voice in Canada, promotion of safety is our most important message.

PCVA Members are committed to passenger care and safety.  We are all:

• Registered with Transport Canada
• Inspected annually by Transport Canada or a Transport Canada approved classification society
• Insured for your piece of mind
